Tonights’ Frontline was a great show about the the diets out today, the reality about obesity in America, and how to control it. The main point is what I’ve been learning for the last 16 months: it’s calories that matter. And stay away from those refined carbs. Instead, concentrate on carbs such as whole grains, brown rice, fruits and vegetables. And if you’re worried about cardiovascular disease, stay away from saturated fats. Oh, and all the diets are gimmicks. Just eat less, and learn how to eat well, and exercise. Anyhow, I would recommend you catch a re-run of it sometime if you’ve been curious about all the diets out there and want to learn more about losing weight.
